Audra Lyon, Associate
Audra Lyon is a subject matter expert (SME) in technical writing with over 26 years of experience. Since 1986, Audra has worked on various Department of Navy (DoN) and civilian contracts covering a broad spectrum of provisioning and documentation that includes creating and maintaining commercial manuals for a local San Diego manufacturing company, corporate operation manuals for SANYO North America, Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) manuals for the C-2A, S-3A, SH60B and SH-60F aircraft programs, system and user manuals for the Navy & Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI), and Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) manuals for the T-AKE and Mobile Landing Platform new construction ship programs for the Military Sealift Command (MSC).
Audra is an eleven-year veteran of the US Navy and US Naval Reserve and earned his Naval Aircrew Wings in 1976 after successfully completing S-3A Sensor Operation (SENSO) while attached to VS-41 at Naval Air Station North Island (NASNI). While on active duty in 1980, Audra was assigned to the Operations Department onboard USS CONSTELLATION (CV-64) in support of Operation Eagle Claw. Audra was born in Anchorage, Alaska and is married to Vicky Yao Lyon.
