January 5, 2012 Cowan & Associates, Inc. (C&A), an Arlington, Virginia-based Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), specializing in IT and management consulting to the federal government and academia was notified that the Supply Corps Foundation “Year of Navy Supply” Exhibit at the US Navy Memorial in Washington, DC was recently selected for an American Graphic Design Award from Graphic Design USA. The competition attracted more than 8,000 entries in more than 20 categories. The “Year of Navy Supply” Exhibit ran for one year from April 2010 thru March 2011, and highlighted the importance of Navy supply throughout history, along with having interactive items and elements to show how supply supports today’s warfighter. C&A provided strategic consultation and pre-production planning, produced, installed and maintained the exhibit, then dismantled and transported displays to the US Navy Supply Corps School in Newport, RI.
