Clinger Cohen Act (CCA)
CCA Certification and/or Confirmation
The C&A Team has extensive expertise in efforts
related to compliance with the
Clinger Cohen Act (CCA) and its subsequent
U.S.
Code. We can assist and facilitate with our
client teams to develop and assess the adequacy of documentation
providing evidence of acquisition of information technology (IT) as
a capital investment based upon mission accomplishment, economic
feasibility, return on investment (ROI), measured performance, and
other elements.
Policy and Implementation
The C&A team has extensive expertise in and can
support CCA compliance policy, process, and procedures development
efforts; provide coordination with appropriate review/approval
entities; and recommend streamlining refinements to existing
processes. We have experts on CCA compliance and implementation
related contents of U.S. Code,
DoD/DoN Directive/Instructions, and the processes
contained in the
DoD/DoN Guidebook. C&A has participated directly
in the development of the
CCA
Compliance Table and its usage over the last six
years.
CCA Training
C&A can provide executive and detailed level
training on any of the
eleven elements of CCA compliance Confirmation,
including capital planning, mission support, identification of core
priority functions, business process reengineering, and performance
management. Training can also include the administrative processes
supporting statutory compliance Certification and regulatory
compliance Confirmation for all Acquisition Category programs and
related IT contracts. |
